This Privacy Policy explains how StackSimplify (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operated by Kalyan Reddy Daida, collects, uses, and protects information when you visit stacksimplify.com, docs.stacksimplify.com, terraformguru.com, or any associated websites (collectively, the “Sites”).

- Newsletter subscription: When you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address through our email service provider, Beehiiv.
- Contact information: If you contact us directly, we may receive your name, email address, and message content.

- Analytics data: We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymized usage data including pages visited, time on site, referral source, device type, and general geographic location. This data does not personally identify you.
- Log data: Our hosting infrastructure (Amazon CloudFront and Amazon S3) may collect standard server log data including IP addresses, browser type, and requested URLs.

2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Deliver and improve our websites and course documentation
- Send newsletter emails (only if you explicitly subscribe)

When you click links to Udemy courses, GitHub repositories, or other external sites, you leave our Sites and become subject to those third parties’ privacy policies.
4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
4.1 Cookies We Use

_ga,_ga_*): Used to distinguish unique visitors and track sessions. These cookies expire after 2 years and 24 hours respectively. - Beehiiv cookies: Set when you interact with the newsletter subscription form to track attribution.

- Newsletter data: Your email address is retained by Beehiiv as long as you remain subscribed. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any newsletter email.
- Server logs: CloudFront access logs are retained for up to 90 days for security and performance analysis.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

- Correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Deletion: Request deletion of your personal data
- Opt-out: Unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time via the unsubscribe link
- Analytics opt-out: Use the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent analytics tracking

7. Children's Privacy
Our Sites are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
